In our May issue, we explore the fascinating world of the future… that of course being electric and hybrid cars. The team travelled the globe hunting down these futuristic beings and brought back an incredible selection including the new Range Rover P400e, , the Porsche Panamera 4 e-hybrid, the Tesla Model s and Model X, the new BMW i3s, the all-new Nissan Leaf and the just launched Mercedes-AMG CLS 53. We also review a plethora of conventional ‘old school’ cars including the Ferrari GTC4 Lusso T and Audi R8 RWS.
We also attend the New York International Auto show and bring you our stars of the show. And of course, there is our cover feature, the incredible Lamborghini Terzo Millennio. A hypercar from the future!
In our June issue The Savage, our secret high performance weapon shows off his selection of performance cars, which include the Ferrari 812 superfast, tested in Cape Town, the Lamborghini Huracan, tested in Johannesburg, the Dallara Stradale, BAC Mono, Lotus 3-Eleven 430, BMW M4 CS, Range Rover Sport SVR, Porsche 718 Boxster GTS and Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snake. August is Women’s month, and what better way to celebrate it than to pay tribute to the women in motorsport. We also handed over the magazine to the female team who composed the entire issue. Jennifer has two races; one from Johannesburg to Durban and a second around the Nurburgring in Germany.
We also interview Malaysian female racing and drifting sensation Leona Chin, again. Our ladies review and test a collection of amazing cars including the Lamborghini Urus in Rome. It is our birthday – one-year-old – and we celebrate it by doing what we do best. We drive cars and then tell you all about it. For most of the year Paris is the city of love, but during October it is the location of the Paris International Motor Show. This is where a lot of new models are launched, previewed and ‘sneak-peeked’ and we were there. It is a glimpse into the future of what to expect in car showrooms in the coming year or so.
We also pay tribute to racing legend Michael Schumacher.
