Tribute is paid to the victims of the 1955 Le Mans tragedy which was in June of 1955, where we take you through this horrific event, step-by-step. An important question is also answered.  What is the best supercar for sale in South Africa?

July Edition

Forty years of GTI is the headline, and we not only take a trip down memory lane from the Golf Mk.1 GTI to the current Mk.7 but we also do full road tests of the Golf GTI, the Polo GTI and the Up! The Naked Motoring team goes forth and reports on all things motoring from Jennifer in Italy figuring out a problem with narrow roads to Rodney who talks us through the psychology of road rage.

August Edition

August is Women’s month, and what better way to celebrate it than to pay tribute to the women in motorsport.  We also handed over the magazine to the female team who composed the entire issue. Jennifer has two races; one from Johannesburg to Durban and a second around the Nurburgring in Germany.

We also interview Malaysian female racing and drifting sensation Leona Chin, again. Our ladies review and test a collection of amazing cars including the Lamborghini Urus in Rome.  Also in the mix is the all-new Mercedes Benz A-Class, Porsche 718 Cayman GTS, VW Golf R Performance Pack and Peugeot 508.

September Edition

Spring has sprung, or at least in the southern hemisphere where we are from, and it is always an occasion to celebrate – if nothing else, the end of winter. In this month’s edition of the magazine we explore the world of fast, luxurious, expensive and refined in the new Bentley Continental GT. We also just look at fast and expensive in the Lamborghini Huracan Performance Spyder. Then the team delves into other worlds of cars and brings to you a collection of reviews including, amongst many others, the new KIA Ceed, the all-new Audi A6 and the Tesla Model 3.

Our columnists tackle a range of subjects from the petrol price to how roads are made, to bribery and corruption to designing your very own supercar.

October Edition

It is our birthday – one-year-old – and we celebrate it by doing what we do best. We drive cars and then tell you all about it. Our headline story is of the new and very exciting Ferrari 488 Pista, and from there we delve into a plethora of amazing cars – some good, some bad, some interesting, some boring, some pretty and some ugly. Lined up for you are, amongst others, the Jaguar i-Pace, the Aston Martin DB11 AMR, the McLaren 570S Spider ‘Track Pack’, the Mercedes Benz S 560 Coupe and the Jaguar XE SV Project 8.

Sadly our Jennifer is no longer having lost her battle against cancer, so in essence, this magazine, which features her final column – The Girl Can – is our first tribute to her. So we trust you will join us in remembering her, and hope that you will enjoy.

November Edition

In this action packed edition we headline with the new Jaguar XE 300 Sport, a car destined to take the fight to the BMW 340i, Mercedes Benz C350 and Audi A4. The Naked Motoring team scour the planet to bring you a selection of road tests of only the finest vehicles on the planet, and some not so fine ones too. These include the all-new Jaguar i-Pace, BMW X4 M40d and For Focus.

Then James and Kate take the Mercedes Benz CLS 450 4Matic and Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo 4 E-Hybrid and pit them against one another in a head-to-head challenge to see which is best. In anticipation of a very special American joining the team from next month we explore the strange ways of ‘America Land’ as it has been called by revealing the whacky world of Redneck car modifications.

For most of the year Paris is the city of love, but during October it is the location of the Paris International Motor Show. This is where a lot of new models are launched, previewed and ‘sneak-peeked’ and we were there. It is a glimpse into the future of what to expect in car showrooms in the coming year or so.

We also pay tribute to racing legend Michael Schumacher.

December Edition

The holidays are upon us and we are gearing up for them.  In our December 2018 issue, we review a collection of amazing cars including the all-new Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, Ford Ranger Raptor, Range Rover Sport P400e, and the BMW M5 Competition, as well as a whole lot more.

We welcome to the team Nadia, all the way from America, whose inaugural column “This American Girl… Just Did!” offers a view into her world and indeed the American motoring scene. The rest of the team soldiers on to bring to you a fantastic selection of reviews, articles, and columns. Oliver debates the possibility of using ducks to navigate, Kate has an issue with in-car hair dryers and I discuss the age-old, time honoured tradition of Passion Wagons.

As a special feature we explore the dusty and exciting world of rally racing at the 2018 Ermelo Rally.
